New laptop, how do I connect to my home computer’s internet?
hersheykiss8908 asked:
On my new laptop, I tried to connect to the home network, but it required a passkey. I can’t remember it for my home pc, is there any way to find it through my home computer(the one I’m trying to connect to?). Or, my laptop prompts me to insert a usb drive with info from my home computer in order to connect with it. Either option, can anyone help?

You have to re-install your router and write down the passcode.

Type in the ip address — it is usually 192.168.1.1 — into the address bar of your browser page and hit enter. Type in the name of administrator and pass key. Your router page will open up; click on wireless tab, then security settings and you should find the pass key there.
