    You can do it without the internet, and even without a router or a hub. You just need one cable called a crossover cable. It will plug into the Ethernet ports of both PC’s and allow you to play multi player games together. Its very cheap and found at just about any computer store.

    The simpliest way is to install a router and allow the DHCP server in the router handle the connections.
    This is about as basic as it gets.

    I would recommend the following router if you can afford it. It leave alot of room for expanion.

    Ok.U do need a router.But u dont need a internet connection.U just on the router and conect both your computers.
