My computer is online via a wireless network. recently my brother tried to hook his laptop up to my network and he must have changed some setting in my computer because my computer sees my network but it will not connect. it tells me there is no ip address. how can i repair this? i need my home computer back online.

    i think if u call your ISP - talk to the support person, probably he can walk u thru the troubleshooting process and get your connection back again.

    Most home networks use a generic IP address of: 192.168.0.1 and a subnet of 255.255.255.0 If you can find it, attempt to match the router’s IP address with the exception of the last digit (1) OR, set the IP configuration to “Obtain IP address Automatically”
